BIOMECHANICAL ANALYSIS (3D MOTION CAPTURE OR 2D VIDEO)

Tennis players and coaches need personal analysis of the serve performance. This kind of biomechanical analysis is helpful because it allows to compare player’s performance with a database taking account of the player’s age, sex and level to highlight key areas to work on. With different technologies and according to the player’s requirements, it is possible to measure several performance criteria:

Ball velocity
Energy transfer
Leg drive
Impact height
Maximal knee flexion angle
Muscular activity
Segmental angular velocities
Segmental sequence
